Roles and Responsibilities

1.  Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer within assigned territories
2.  Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
3.  Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
4.  Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts
5.  Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
6.  Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to superiors
7.  Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
8.  Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. monthly sales, quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
9.  Prepare sales review reports, activity reports and travel plan
10. Collaborate with marketing team and support team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
11. Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed



1.  At least a degree in chemistry/applied chemistry/biotechnology/biology/medical/healthcare
1.  Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
2.  Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence
3.  Experience with CRM software 
4.  Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
5.  Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
