Job Role

The Admission and Ticketing Crew provides ticketing services to the general public, corporate customers and tour groups. He/She assists in the sale of tickets, performs cashiering duties which include collection of sales proceeds, and handles any general enquiries according to the admission and ticketing procedures and policies. He/She also works closely with the Finance department to conduct the daily closing of accounts and assists his/her supervisor to manage possible issues.

He/She is service-oriented with good interpersonal skills, and serves as the first contact with visitors and responder to any queries. As he/she is required to interact well with customers and visitors, it would be an advantage if he/she is able to speak in more than one language. He/She is also careful and honest when managing cash.

He/She may have to work in shifts, on weekends and even on public holidays. He/She is comfortable working in an outdoor environment and be on his/her feet for long hours.

Address attractions-related visitor enquiries.
Apply digital technology to enhance attractions experience.
Apply health and safety standards and procedures.
Assist in directing crowd flow through the attractions sites.
Assist to regulate queue times according to queue management methods.
Collect sales proceeds.
Conduct membership sales and registration.
Cooperate with the Finance department to conduct daily closing of accounts.
Customise visitor engagement efforts based on visitor demographics.
Deliver customer service in accordance to organisation procedures.
Ensure visitors follow safety rules.
Escalate incidents for follow-up actions.
Handle general visitor enquiries on admissions, ticketing and memberships.
Monitor sales statistics.
Perform emergency response procedures.
Perform first-level service assistance and recovery.
Provide feedback to management team on improving ground operations.
Report deviations from established operations goals.
Solicit visitor feedback.
Use electronic ticketing and payment systems to conduct sales.
