  • To assist Human Resources Manager in managing day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the hotel including recruitment, performance management, manpower planning, development plans, compensation and benefits as well as employee relation
  • To assist the Human Resources Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the Human Resources Department, ensuring that all the policies and procedures outlined in the Departmental Operating Manual are strictly adhered to
  • To ensure timely recruitment and selection, in line with the required standards, manning and budget and to be involved in the interviewing and screening process
  • General correspondence, letter and memorandum with regards to Human Resources
  • Responsible for creating/maintaining a healthy work environment where people feel challenged and are motivated to contribute their innovative and creative ideas to the success of the company organization, by fostering a strong team spirit and enhancing the human relationships in company effectiveness
  • Regularly meet with employees for progress reviews and assessments, discussing any problems or grievances they may have.
  • To undertake any other assignments as assigned from time to time by the Human Resources Manager
  • To perform other duties assigned by The Management from time to time

 

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position Preferred candidates from hospitality industry
  • Well-versed in Malaysian Labour Law, Industrial Law, statutory requirements, foreign workers' requirement
  • Excellent communication skills, must be able to collaborate and communicate with people at all levels and interact with a diverse group of individuals and personalities
  • Strong leadership, managerial, mentoring, counselling skills and good interpersonal skills
  • Matured candidates who are resourceful, self-motivated, able to work independently and as a team
  • Possess a high level of confidentiality
  • Positive work attitude, flexible and ready for challenging opportunities
  • Strong leadership skills and self-driven team player
  • Must be fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written
